Prayer to St. Gerard
O good St. Gerard, powerful intercessor before God and Wonder-worker of our day, I call on you and seek your help. You who on earth did always fulfill God’s design, help me to do the Holy Will of God. Beseech the Master of Life, from whom all paternity proceeded, to make me fruitful in offspring, that I may raise up children to God in this life and heirs to the Kingdom of His glory in the world to come. Amen.
Prayer to the Sacred Heart of Jesus
Dear Sacred Heart of Jesus, I have asked you for many favors, but I beg for this one. Take it, place it in your open broken heart, and when the Eternal Father sees it covered with the mantle of thy most Precious Blood, He cannot refuse it. For then it is Your prayer not mine. Amen
Prayer for Those Struggling with Infertility
God of All Life, You fill what is empty, You make abundant what is scarce, You bring to bloom what is barren. We ask your presence and care for all those who seek to be parents. Bless them with the conception, healthy delivery and joyful rearing of children to cherish, made in your image and likeness. Dwell with them and console them as they wait for the gifts given in your good time. With Sarah and Abraham, Rachel and Jacob, Hannah and Elkanah, Zachariah and Elizabeth, we pray. Amen.
Prayer to St. Anne
Good Saint Anne, you were especially favored by God to be the mother of the most holy Virgin Mary, the Mother of our Savior. By your power with your most pure daughter and with her divine Son, kindly obtain for us the grace and the favor we now seek. Please secure for us also forgiveness of our past sins, the strength to perform faithfully our daily duties and the help we need to persevere in the love of Jesus and Mary. Amen.
Dear Saint Anne, we know nothing about you except your name. But you gave us the Mother of God who called herself handmaid of the Lord. In your home you raised the Queen of Heaven and are rightly the model of homemakers. In your womb came to dwell the new Eve uniquely conceived without sin. Intercede for us that we too may remain free from sin. Amen.
Glorious Saint Anne, we think of you as filled with compassion for those who invoke you and with love for those who suffer. Heavily laden with the weight of my troubles, I cast myself at your feet and humbly beg of you to take the present affair which I recommend to you under you special protection. (Mention the request.)
Deign to commend it to your daughter, our Blessed Lady, and lay it before the throne of Jesus, so that He may bring it to a happy conclusion. Cease not to intercede for me until my request is granted. Above all, obtain for me the grace of one day beholding my God face to face. With you and Mary and all the saints, may I praise and bless Him for all eternity. Good Saint Anne, mother of her who is our life, our sweetness and our hope, pray for me. Amen.
